Are handcrafted ceramic products safe for food use?

Yes. Our handmade ceramics are made with food-safe clay and glazes, and each piece is kiln-fired at high temperatures for durability and everyday use. They are designed to be safe for serving food and drinks.

Are handcrafted tableware oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe?

Microwave Our ceramic pieces are suitable for short-term reheating in the microwave (e.g. warming drinks or soup). Please avoid sudden temperature changes, such as placing a cold piece directly into the microwave. Note: any pieces with metallic accents or metal components should not be microwaved.

Oven Most of our ceramic pieces are not recommended for oven use, as sustained heat and temperature fluctuations may cause cracking — especially for pieces with 3D hand-sculpted details. However, our baking traysare oven safe and designed to withstand oven temperatures. Please refer to the individual product page for specific oven compatibility information.

Dishwasher Our ceramics are dishwasher safe, though we recommend hand washing for best results. The high-temperature water jets and detergents used in dishwashers may gradually fade hand-painted designs over time. Gentle hand washing with warm water and mild dish soap will help preserve the colors and details of your piece for years to come.

Do handcrafted ceramics have imperfections?

It's important to understand that slight variations and imperfections are not flaws, but rather the inherent characteristic and beauty of handmade ceramics.

Unlike machine-made items, each piece is individually crafted and finished by the hands of an artist. These unique marks—such as subtle color shifts in the glaze, tiny pinholes, or a uniquely textured surface—are not defects. Instead, they are the proof of the artisan's touch and the organic nature of the creative process. They tell a story and ensure that no two pieces are exactly alike.

We ensure that every item meets our high standards for quality and function. Any characteristics that do not affect the durability or usability of the piece are celebrated as part of its one-of-a-kind identity.

Do handcrafted ceramics usually have the artist's mark or signature on them?

Some of Artisan pieces bear the artist's unique signature or chop mark. This is their personal seal of authenticity and what makes each item one-of-a-kind.

The location and style of the mark vary by artist—it might be found on the bottom of the piece, subtly integrated into the design, or accompanied by the year of creation.

How long does it take to ship my order?

In-stock items: Processing takes 2–6 business days.

Handmade-to-order items: Processing takes approximately 15–20 business days (unless in stock).

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can also track your order anytime from the "Track Your Order" link in our website footer.

How are import taxes calculated?

All orders are shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP).
This means all duties, taxes, and import fees are included in your total — you won’t need to pay anything extra upon delivery.

Returns & Refunds

Can I request a refund before my order is shipped?

Orders are processed quickly, so we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to assist you.

What is your return policy?

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including: Handmade-to-order items, Disposable/single-use items, Sales items, Gift cards

What should I do if I receive a damaged item?

If anything arrives broken, please email us within 48 hours of receiving your package. Include photos of the damaged items and packaging—we’ll immediately arrange a replacement or refund.
